Pile of Notecards

These are all the notecards I made last semester.  I was cleaning up a few weeks ago and getting ready for spring semester when I decided to pile these up to see what they looked like. 

They look like a lot. 

Here's the break down:

The left two piles were pkas, stuctures, and chemical equations for OChem.

The middle pile was terms for Anthropology 101.

The pile on the far right was everything for Biology 107.

Round one of exams for spring semester started this week.  I am well on my way to making more notecards this semester than I did last.  That's a little daunting when I look at this picture.  It's a lot of writing and a lot of learning.  :)

Kitchen Stuff

So I absolutely LOVE kitchen stuff and being in the kitchen.  Below are all the kitchen items I acquired over Christmas Break.  Some were gifts and some were things I just had to have!

I got two amazing cookbooks...Betty Crocker and Taste of Home.  These two books have so many great recipes and cooking/baking tips.  I also got several pieces of Pyrex.  Pyrex stuff is the best ever!  I also got a much needed pizza cutter.  I can't believe I went two and half college years with out one considering the fact pizza is eaten once a week by me!  My boyfriend got me the cute western cookie cutters and my sister got me the awesome rolling pin. 

I like baking, cooking, and being in the kitchen!

This here is a gadget I had to have.  Do you ever get tired of the thought "where do I put the spoon so I don't make a mess?"  Well this little thing solves that messy problem by holding the spoon above the pot!  It clips on the edge of the pot and you slip the spoon into the opening. 

The mess drips into the pot!  It's great and keeps things clean!

Spring Semester

Is off and rolling!  Thank goodness because that means I'm closing in on being done with four years of college.  After this semester, one full year of undergrad to go.  Yippee!

I am taking five 300 level classes this semester.  Four of them are microbiology classes and the other is a horticulture class.  So far things are going well and I'm not overwhelmed.  Right now people seem to think I'm crazy when I say I'm taking four microbiology classes.  I just say I've got to do it and there is a lot of overlap in the material.  I may change my tune on whether or not I am crazy for taking this class load in a month once exams and assignments start taking place, but oh well!  I've got my schedule laid out and things look like they will be just fine.

Now I must do a little bragging about how last semester finished up for me.  First, I'm glad it's over and it ended well.  Second, my grades were probably the best they have been since my first semester at college.  I got two "A's", one "A-", and one "B".  Thirdly, this means I made the President's Honor Roll.  I have officially made the honor roll all six semesters that I have taken classes at or through WSU.  I'm really quite proud of myself because I know I have learned so much and have worked so hard. 

I'm hoping this current semester will end as successfully as the last!
