Tuesday this last week was extra nasty. It was a blizzard all day. At five in the morning, I had to brush two inches off my car windows. Six hours later I had to brush four plus inches off my car windows. The snow was really coming down! It was also very icy-I partially slid through an intersection on my way back from work. Scary but not as scary as the angry bus driver who thought she should use inappropriate sign language at me! Oh well, no one was hurt and that is what is most important in situations like that.
So here is what I have been leading up to. Tuesday evening my one professor e-mailed my class to ask if we would like class cancelled because of the winter weather advisory that was in effect. So what would you expect a bunch of college students to say to a question regarding cancelling class? I'm certain he knew what the answer would be. After he tallied our votes, he e-mailed the class to announce that class would be cancelled today (Wednesday). Big surprise, but yeah! Thursday night the class gets to vote on whether or not we want class cancelled Friday. I think we all know what that answer will be...YES, cancel class!
